Iowa (PPI) has saluted and supported member Kelly Kesling by bestowing upon her the highly coveted Kodak Gallery Award for photographic excellence at its’ recent winter photographic convention held on February 5-9 at the Des Moines Holiday in on Fleur Drive. Kelly won the award for her wedding image “vineyard Vows”. Kodak introduced the Gallery award in 1985 as a way to honor and promote the importance of and values of excellence in professional photography. As one of the industry’s highest levels of recognition the Kodak Gallery award is only given to 3 images out of approximately 400 entered at the 2010 Iowa winter convention. Awards are judged on a regional basis with winners going on to compete on the national level for the Gallery Elite Award, Kodak’s most elite honors the “Best of the Best” award at the National Professional Photographers Association convention.
In addition to winning the Kodak Gallery award Kelly also won 3 other awards at the regional convention this winter in the children’s indoor category, children’s outdoor category and wedding categories.
Kelly now proudly displays in her studio the crystal Kodak Gallery Globe Award. This award along with her many other awards are a tribute to her outstanding high quality images and professionalism.
